This is a time when we as Christians celebrate the gift of The Son of God - the ultimate sacrificial gift. It has been our tradition to meet at Vanderbilt Beach every Christmas Eve, but as you know, this year has been … well, a little different. We have resumed to almost normal as a Church as far as things go on our Church campus, while at the same time, meeting everyone where they are regarding their levels of risk and concern. Because we are a Church, we are exempt from certain restrictions put forward by the County, however, these restrictions do apply to us for gatherings off campus and our Beach Service is one such gathering.
Due to current restrictions, we will be unable to host our Christmas Eve service at Vanderbilt Beach this year – BUT – we WILL be hosting a Christmas Eve Service at our Church Building this year.
You Can Still Enjoy The Beach, Then Come Worship At The Church!
We are starting our Christmas Eve Service about an hour later this year so that those of you who normally like to watch the sun set can do so and then come to the Church afterward, which is only a short 12 minute drive south (See Map Below). We also understand that some of you like to get something to eat after the service, so we will be serving Pizza afterward at the Church free of charge. Thank you for your understanding in this matter and remember, we will resume our beach services when things are back to normal.
We look forward to worshipping with you on Christmas Eve so … We’ll Save a Seat for You! Merry Christmas!
