Youth & Children's Ministry
C3 Youth & Children's Ministry is parent led - it is said that it takes a village to raise a child, likewise, in Christianity it takes a Church to raise a child. Our Children's Ministry is also a Safe Sanctuary establishment. All of our volunteers are background checked and trained to guarantee your child the best experience possible. We seek to make Sunday your child’s favorite day of the week, so we use skilled volunteers, technology, and fun activities in an excellent environment to communicate the timeless knowledge of our loving God. We believe this makes C3 Kids a place your child will be begging you to bring them back to each week! For more info about any of our events and ministries please connect with us.
Infants – Pre-K
At C3, we encourage families to worship together. Participation in worship and hearing the message directly from the Lead Pastor is the prescribed Biblical method and as such, an important part of a child's spiritual development. But because younger children can be noisy and distracting during worship or to those trying to pay attention to the message, we ask that children from Infants to Pre-K age be brought to the children’s area for the worship service. When you arrive, you can check them in with us at the kid’s area to the right of the lobby. If you don’t feel comfortable leaving your child, we also have a separate family room where you can watch the sermon and be with your child.
K - 3rd Grade
We also offer Children’s Church (K to 3rd grade) during our 10am service on Sundays in our Children’s Ministry Wing. Parents should use the check in to the right as you enter the lobby and escort your children into the children's classroom before the message. Children will be taught a lesson that correlates with the sermon along with accompanying questions in our app so that families can discuss the message together after church. Be at ease knowing that they are in a safe environment that is fun and teaches your child the most important lessons in life.
Middle & High School Age
Church Involvement & Discipleship
We encourage those who are Middle School and High School age to attend regular worship services and Bible study as an important part of their spiritual development and maturity. This is more reflective of Biblical worship, which offers no guidelines or precedent for a segregated youth service. While it is a good thing for the youth to gather for activities and social events, the youth were never meant to be led by the young. Biblical discipleship is all about the young being led by their elders; from Moses and Joshua to Paul and Timothy (For an example of how that is commanded in the church, see Titus 2:4; 6-7). Youth Pastors today do not typically have the knowledge, maturity, or experience to act as a sufficient parental figure to a young adult, which is perhaps why we are seeing such a high dropout rate from Christianity in young adults at over 60%. Certainly, we can't say that the typical modern method is working, which is why we at C3 prefer the Biblical method.
